The Apple iPhone 12 is quite a versatile smartphone, and due to this you?ll be able to easily play Fortnite Genshin Impact & Pokemon Go with no processor lag dragging down your gaming session. However even the most powerful smartphone in the world can still overheat with heavy use. That?s where the Razer Arctech Pro iPhone 12 case is king. It boasts three powerful layers that cool so as to stop CPU shut down, there is also the standard impact protection that you would expect to find in any good case. We don’t know right now on whether or not the case is capable with qi charging, but we?ll update this when we hear Arctech Pro iPhone 12 case is wireless charging compatible. It operates well with wireless chargers.
Three Metre Protection
Drop protection wise Razer’s Arctech Pro case has 10ft Drop Protection. Razer’s Arctech Pro feels rugged, tough and thick. I would trust the case to protect your handset if you happen to drop it from 10 ft heights or less.

One similarity of the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro is battery life or lack thereof. Both give passable performance, but this is a rung down from 2019’s devices. usually get about just over four hours of usage for each full charge using 5G, 4G, and WiFi. Now, this is only a day’s usage, with a small buffer. For comparison, I was easily able to have about a day and a half from Apple’s iPhone 11 and the iPhone XR. Getting a day’s usage is good, however would be better to have a wider safety net especially on those days where there is a lot usage.
And on a charging note, the company has gone with an interesting policy of stopping bundling earbuds and power adaptors with iPhones because of environmental concerns. So all you will receive in their box – other than your iPhone 12 itself, is a USB-C to Lightning cable. I don’t think it’s a deal breaker. EarPods are not the best, & many people will have a power adaptor. The tricky bit is the company’s selection of cable. You’ll need to have a charger with a USB Type C port to use the cable (or a computer) but unless you’re coming from an iPhone 11 Pro Max, your iPhone power brick will use a USB A port. You can utilise an older cable and charger, however you’ll not get the the faster charging abilities that the iPhone 12 is able to provide. If you need to purchase a USB-C charging adaptor, you’re spending $40 in order to purchase one of these.
Magnetic Charger
In addition, Apple now now has a new wireless charging protocol . This system is a puck-like wireless charger that will magnetically snaps onto the rear of your iPhone 12. This provides perfect connection for a the fastest wireless charging, and it also means that you can still use the iPhone as it is juicing – which you cannot do with a non MagSafe wireless charger. You are able to have a faster charge using a normal charger, however MagSafe is able to charge your iPhone 12 from zero charge to about 40% over about thirty minutes. And getting MagSafe is going to cost you. You will need to pay roughly $65 just for the charger itself, and $29 if you need the USB C brick. If you’re wanting the magnets that connect to your cover or case, you’ll also need a MagSafe compatible cover. Your MagSafe charger will charge through most cases, it won’t stick to it. Apple’s MagSafe cases and covers start at around the $80 mark. Yes there are parts of MagSafe that are for magSafe devices only however, it will operate as a normal wireless charger that operates with any device that supports it. The charge will be won’t be as fast as MagSafe charging. Right now, MagSafe is a fun and somewhat expensive option, and I am interested to see where MagSafe will lead. And most of us do not want a MagSafe charger at home, there sure is much potential when it comes to MagSafe accessories like vehicle holders where this could save time.

According to a article in South Korean tech publication The Elec states Samsung would pull back output from around 25 million units a month to only 10 million handsets for the month of April. This outlet also quotes an unnamed source to suggest that the ongoing Covid-19 Iockdowns as well as the halting of factories in India and the country of Brazil were the main reasons for the reduction. Samsung report numbers would be normalized in May as this is when the India and Brazil plants will ressume production. But, even though the lockdown has already been extended in India until the third of May and Covid-19 occurences unfortunately are rising in both these countries, the anticipated recovery may yet be longer than the company hopes. But yet, there is a silver lining for the company. The predicted sales for its Galaxy S20 Ultra are beating all market predictions and sales are believed to hit 6 million handsets throughout the year when compared to the expected numbers 3.5 to 5.25 million handsets.

Disinfectant wipes are now declared safe to use on phone screens, but there are still hazardous chemicals you need to avoid when cleaning your phone.
Make sure you’re cleaning your phone the right way.
The novel coronavirus that causes the respiratory disease known as COVID-19 may be able to survive on some surfaces for up to nine days, studies have found, and that may include your beloved phone. This is the device you handle constantly and often press to the side of your face, which means that any bacteria, virus or other germ that makes its way onto your phone or case could easily transfer to your skin.
Washing your hands the right way can help keep you and your loved ones from passing the virus, but what about cleaning your phone? The good news is that disinfecting your electronic device has officially become easier. Earlier this week, Apple said on its website that you can safely clean your iPhone with disinfectant wipes, like Clorox sheets. Samsung hasn’t responded to a request for comment about its phones.
There are still cleaning agents and techniques to avoid, however. While you might initially see good results, these harsher methods can eventually damage the screen (or possibly the internal components) that you’re working so hard to protect.
We’re going to tell you what products to avoid and the best ways to disinfect your phone and clean off fingerprint smudges, sand and lint from the ports and tenacious makeup off the screen (hint: never with makeup remover). We also tell you how to care for phones rated for water-resistance.
And here are nine more practical tips you can use to help limit your exposure to coronavirus.
Drop the window cleaner and counter spray, now.
Disinfect your phone: Wipes, not pure alcohol
If you touch your phone after touching a public door handle or grocery cart, you may immediately think to clean it with rubbing alcohol. Don’t. Straight alcohol can strip the oleophobic and hydrophobic coatings that keep oil and water from damaging your display and other ports.
Some websites suggest creating a mix of alcohol and water yourself, but it’s crucial to get the concentration right. Get it wrong and you could damage your phone. The safest bet is to use disinfectant wipes that contain 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean your phone screen.
In the past, we were instructed to not use disinfectant wipes on our phone screens, but now Apple says it’s OK to use Clorox Wipes and others with similar concentrations. Samsung hasn’t commented on whether it’s safe to use disinfectant wipes on its phones.
AT&T’s recently revised cleaning guidelines suggest that you “spray a nonabrasive or alcohol-based (70% isopropyl) disinfectant directly on a soft lint-free cloth and wipe down your device while it is powered down and unplugged.” An earlier version of the company’s post suggested using paper towels, which are far too abrasive (see below). After we reached out, AT&T has since changed its post to reflect the soft cloth.
Another option for day-to-day cleaning is investing in a UV light, such as PhoneSoap. This UV light company claims to kill 99.99% of germs and banishes bacteria. As far as we know, it hasn’t been tested in relation to this strain of coronavirus.

iPhone 11 Design: Colorful and More Durable
The iPhone 11’s structure is a blend of well-known and new. The front and sides are essentially samesies with the iPhone XR, complete with the indent at the top, aluminum band and fairly stout bezels (in any event contrasted with the iPhone 11 Pro and the best Android telephones).
The indication that you have the new iPhone is the larger than average double cameras on the back, housed in a matte glass square. The focal points sort of help me to remember robot eyes. The remainder of the glass has a reflexive completion, so this camera fix gives an intriguing piece of complexity. (The iPhone 11 Pro is all matte glass on the back.)
I like the new hues for the iPhone 11, which have a more controlled vibe than the Technicolor rainbow that made up the iPhone XR lineup. The more quieted shades incorporate a mint green, a light yellow and a light lavender purple. You can likewise pick from back, white and Red.
The greatest plan change on the iPhone 11 is the thing that you don’t see. Apple guarantees that this telephone has the hardest glass — front and back — of any cell phone, on account of a double particle trade process. Some iPhone 11 users have made nosie about easily scratched unitss, despite the fact that we have not seen any scratches on our survey unit. All things considered, you might need to put resources into an iPhone 11 screen defender or iPhone 11 case.
This gadget likewise has IP68-appraised water obstruction, which implies that it can withstand 2 meters of water for 30 minutes. The iPhone XR could do just 1 meter. The iPhone 11 Pro ups that to 4 meters, yet that is not really motivation to spend additional batter.
At 5.94 x 2.98 x 0.33 inches and 6.84 ounces, the iPhone 11 is indistinguishable from the iPhone XR in estimate and weight. This places the telephone in the middle of the 5.8-inch iPhone 11 Pro and the 6.5-inch iPhone 11 Pro Max, which I see as a fair compromise as far as vivid review and having the option to utilize the telephone with one hand.
Like the iPhone XR before it, the iPhone 11 is the iPhone I’d recommend to most people. And not just to existing iPhone owners — anyone looking for top-notch cameras should consider this handset, especially because of Apple’s aggressive $699 price. Based on our testing, the iPhone 11 can now hang with or beat the best cameras from Google and Samsung.
Overall, the iPhone 11 is a remarkable worth and without a doubt probably one of the best iPhones you can purchase.

The iPhone X debuted on the market on November 3, 2017. Are you interested in Apple’s new flagship store? Find out at what price you can get it, its data sheet and all the practical information to stay on the iPhone tenth anniversary!
After weeks of delay, the iPhone X was formalized on September 12, 2017! The letter X represents the Roman numeral 10, to remind that the new smartphone is the tenth anniversary. What is certain is that the new iPhone X is the most advanced and futuristic smartphone ever presented by Apple.
It has a huge AMOLED display on the front, with a cutout on its upper edge that welcomes the sensors of its innovative Face ID facial recognition system. The back is glass, to facilitate wireless charging. There is on the back another rather differentiating aesthetic feature: the double vertical photosensor.
iPhone X: Release Date And Pre-order
The pre-orders for the iPhone X had started as of October 27, 2017 for a release date November 3. The smartphone is officially available in stores since that date. Apple is not used to revealing its numbers, but an employee has said from the first-day pre-orders that the iPhone X exploded counters. An analyst estimates that between 9 and 12 million iPhone X would be gone in just three days. The strong demand was also reflected in delivery times which extended by several weeks.
From the first hours, it was necessary to wait between 5 and 6 weeks to be delivered his order. In the first quarter of 2018, production is expected to increase by 50% to catch up with demand and fulfill orders faster. This increased production rate over the months should, however, be profitable for Apple and ultimately for the entire mobile phone industry. Indeed, sales of the iPhone X will be mostly in 2018 and this will affect overall sales of smartphones.
iPhone X: Prices
These prices vary, but the price for the iPhone X is now $1,479 for a 64GB model and $1,729 for a 256GB model. Even with these price levels, Apple remains comparable to the competition in the very high end. Especially against Note 8. We will have to get used to it but high-end smartphones will cost more and be more expensive. n Australia we are among the countries where it is the most expensive. Check out the price of the iPhone X elsewhere in the world. Again it makes sense to protect your iPhone X with a case, screen protector and to keep it in a cradle when you’re in the car.
iPhone X: Technical Sheet
Side technical sheet, the iPhone X has everything to please. It is finally the first iPhone with an AMOLED display on the entire front – breaking with the current classic design with large borders at the top and bottom. On the photo side, the iPhone X has a dual 12-megapixel rear sensor that enhances image capture thanks to artificial intelligence.
In addition, the smartphone still offers 3 GB of RAM, the same amount as the iPhone 7 Plus. This has not been a problem so far, thanks, among other things, to optimization, Apple’s secret boot that allows it to do better than the Android competition with less RAM. The iPhone X is equipped with the A11 Bionic chip, the new powerful SoC that raises the bar even higher than the previous generation, which has long been the first place of benchmarks. The SoC this time makes room for artificial intelligence.
TheiPhone X is equipped with Face ID, a new high-performance facial recognition sensor. It is the most advanced of all the competition. This innovation brought by Apple has already put manufacturers on the Android side in a state of alert. Qualcomm, Himax, Orbbec and Mantis Vision, which supply biometric components to Android smartphone builders, are already working on their own Face ID.
One way to say that they are already preparing their own facial recognition technology with depth of field, history of offering a biometric solution effective and alternative to fingerprint sensors. The arrival of the Face ID caused the disappearance of the physical home button and the Touch ID. But for users who have difficulty getting used to, it is always possible to add a virtual home button on the iPhone X.
And for those who find the notch at the top of the screen a little annoying, a developer has developed an application that can hide it. It allows users to load any image and blacken its top while preserving rounded edges. Then just save the image and set it as wallpaper.
The iPhone X also has a new dark mode that is not really one. This is actually an improved version of the colour inversion, an accessibility option already available in iOS 11. The new mode called “Smart Reversal” allows having a dark interface for better visual comfort for those who suffer from vision problems. Unlike conventional inversion, this new option changes colours without affecting images and other multimedia content.

Otterbox Symmetry cases are among the cheapest options from the Otterbox company so they don’t have all the features of the top of the line Defender case also keep in mind that prices can change slightly according to which model of phone you own.
Additionally if you want a case that will cover the Lightning port and prevent entry of foreign objects, this may not be the case you need as Symmetry doesn’t have port covers. However these cases offer outstanding value and design considering their price.
Best Overall: Otterbox Commuter Series
OtterBox’s Commuter Series of cases are the workhorse of the OtterBox range. They offer a good balance of good looks and protection. This balance works many owners and many iPhones. Again you need to be aware that Commuter cases do not have an in-built screen protector.

Folio: Lifeproof Flip Series Cases
The heavy duty Flip Wallet case from LifeProof is not your typical folio style of case. Yes there’s a wallet flap, but it does not close over the screen like other wallet folio cases do.

The case’s fabric flap comes with three card slots, as well as another longer slot behind these card slots for cash. You cannot to overfill this flap, or it will not hold shut properly.
With only three cards, it does seem full but the magnet does hold. There’s a decent large space between the slots and the back of the iPhone.
The flap has been built with a large cutout to for the camera module. And you can even flip the flap all the way around and then use it as a kickstand when watching videos. This functions very well at a large variety of angles.
Budget: Lifeproof Slam Series Case
LifeProof Slam is LifeProof’s cheapest case option and it is a slim case and has a drop rating to two metres (6.6ft). The Slam case is one of the toughest cases that also lets you to showcase the colour of your iPhone as the case is clear with colouring around the sides. Slam is focused just on drop protection. Although not being the tank like armour that LifeProof is well known for. Slam is still a very protective case. It is not as bulky as many heavy duty cases are. Slam strikes a great balance between protection and bulk. The LifeProof Slam feels solid and does feel like it could take quite a hit. As mentioned above the clear back is a nice design feature that shows off the colour of your iPhone.
Lifeproof Next Case
The Next Series case is the mid-level case in the LifeProof range and Next is designed to be dropproof, dirtproof, and snowproof.
The case has of two pieces that fit tightly together to seal in your iPhone. The back of the case is composed of a rigid clear plastic that goes to the four sides and this holds your iPhone in place.
